River Thames

Boat: Predator 150

We walked 12 miles from the source of the River Thames to Cricklade. Next day paddled 10 miles from Cricklade to Lechlade. First part many places so shallow must drag the canoe. Later sections many fallen trees to get past. Final day managed 20 miles through seven locks under electric power using a MotorGuide 55lb electric Outboard and a 70AHr battery and a 40 Ahr battery with some paddling in 7 1/2 hrs. Then off home with the canoe on top of my Ford CMAX. (Decided to call the canoe CMAX.)
